Sulabh Shauchalaya is a social organization that aims to improve sanitation and hygiene across India by providing affordable and accessible public toilets. Founded in 1970 by Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, Sulabh has been a pioneer in addressing the country's sanitation challenges, particularly in rural and underserved urban areas.

The organization’s mission is to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and the dignity of individuals through the construction and management of public toilets. The organization has built over 1.3 million household and public toilets across India.
